I think every child should have a phone at age 9. Because almost very kid has sports practice, school, and other activities were you are not with a parent. And it is safer for your child to contact you.
I think the right age to have a cell phone is 11-13. In that age range children normally understand the dangers of the intranet. If you have a cell phone to early you might stir up trouble. I believe that if you get a cell phone your parents should have rules about you and your cell phone. This is what I think the right age is for a cell phone.

I think you should be at lease 10 years old to have a phone. I think that because when u get to 10 years you would be able to work on a phone and if it's a emergency you would be able to call 911.That is the age I think you should be able to have a phone.

I think at age 8-17 because some kids need phones for some reasons like if you need to get picked up from school or need to call a family member to check to see if they're okay.

That is why I think that in 3rd grade u should be able to have a phone.

For example when I was little my sister got an ipad and she lost it. She got another one, but she lost that one too. People kept giving her ipads or iphones, but she kept losing it so time went on and now she has lost like 6 or 5 ipads and iphones. So that`s why I want the age limit to be at 10 or higher.
I think that the age that somebody should have a cell phone is the age 6 to 7. The reason I say this is because that's when normally children learn to dial numbers and work a cell phone. Also when I got my first cell phone was 6. Also if you think about it they are getting more responsible and more able to keep up with their things. So that's what age I think somebody should get a cell phone.
The age someone should have a cell phone is when they are a teenager. Reasons why I think that is because they can be more responsible and if you are not a teenager you might not know what to do. You might sign up for things you may not be allowed to be on such as Facebook twitter and other sites, but if you are a teenager you may be on it just not in school because you may get in trouble.That why you shoud be a teenager to have a cell phone.
